Scholarships

The Malta League of Arts offers awards to High School seniors in Shenendehowa High School and Ballston Spa High School.  In order to be considered, the student must:

• Be a resident of the town of Malta

• Demonstrate a passion for visual or performing arts, including fine art, photography, industrial design, ceramics, music, or theater

• Have a creative and competitive portfolio and a commitment to move forward with their art education

There is no student application process; the art or music teacher submits a student recommendation for consideration by the League.

Award Recipients

The Malta League of Arts scholarship recipients for 2023 were Mary Sinnott for Shenendehowa and Ashley Beck for Ballston Spa. Each student was awarded a $250 scholarship.
