We support artists, cultural organizations, and the public.

We provide resources to help artists on their journey through the creation, presentation and dissemination of their work.

Connect

We seek to become a conduit connecting cultural community organizations of all sizes.

Achieve

Through our support and connection to organizations artists achieve their programmatic, educational, community, and organizational goals.

Our Mission…

The Malta League of Arts was created to provide for, encourage and support the diverse cultural and artistic interests, events and resources within our community. We are dedicated to the principal and fundamental importance of artistic and cultural expression in all forms. Through nurturing and encouragement of all artists we seek to enrich our community ad its citizens.

Grow your creative confidence

The artistic endeavors of artists is the core of our goals. As a League of Arts we are committed to promoting and recognizing the highest level of aesthetic achievement in all mediums.

Artists Resource Directory

Let us help your next students find you! In response to multiple requests, the Malta League of Arts is developing a directory of organizations and individuals located in the Town of Malta who offer programs, lessons or consultations in the creative arts to teens and children. These creative arts may include painting, music, design, dance, theater, fine arts, photography, sewing, pottery, creative writing, etc.

Scholarship Fund

The Malta League of Arts currently offers awards to High School seniors in Shenendehowa High School and Ballston Spa High School. The seniors must be residents of the town of Malta and demonstrate a passion for visual or performing arts, including fine art, photography, industrial design, ceramics, music or theater. The recipient should also have a creative and competitive portfolio and a commitment to move forward with their art education. Currently these students are proposed by the art and music teachers in each school.

We anticipate expanding our Scholarship Program in the future to include making awards to adults who want to take in-person study, workshops or classes in visual or performing arts.
